Telephonic Academic Counsellor

People Smart is looking for a Telephonic Academic Counselor who can assist students and parents in making informed decisions about academic and career choices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and a college graduation degree. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and be able to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephonic counseling to students and parents on academic and career choices.
  • Understand and explain the academic programs offered by People Smart and its benefits.
  • Guide students in selecting appropriate courses based on their interests and goals.
  • Provide information about admission procedures, eligibility criteria, fees, and scholarships.
  • Address students' concerns and provide timely solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and counseling sessions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless student experience.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in academic counseling or related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and database management.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working in a remote setting.
